My journey started with the infamous “freshman 15.” After a lifetime as an athlete, I decided not to play softball in college—and things quickly spiraled. I drank regularly, ate whatever I wanted whenever I wanted, rarely exercised, and lost touch with who I was because I hadn’t yet discovered my purpose.
But over the past two years, fitness and health have helped me reconnect with my true self. I learned how to nourish my body, embrace sustainability, and love myself without the extremes of deprivation. I found confidence, strength, and, most importantly, my true purpose.
